Indy is the half brother to very popular Mojito Canyon

Indy’s sire, Nito, was the first branded Kiger stallion in Sweden. His dam, Sedona, has international bloodline influence through her own offspring and grand-offspring. Indy himself is a sweet colt that should have medium to low energy level. His half brother, Mojito, loved the trails and was like an all terrain vehicle with no hesitation going up and down hills or over boulders and logs. Indy really takes after his maternal side of the family, so I think he will take after Mojito’s love for trail riding and smooth gaits that are easy to ride all day.

I believe Indy will mature around his dam’s height of 14.1, but his half brother, Mojito, reached 15.1. Indy’s had basic training and is good for the farrier and moving from pasture to pasture. Recently, I have been leading him off the 4 wheeler since it’s a lot of ground to cover daily. I like to save more of the larger groundwork for my youngster’s 3 year old year. I do not like starting them under saddle until they are at least 3 years old. Kigers are a slower maturing breed that are known for their soundness. A large part of that is due to Kiger breeders knowing that the breed needs more time to mature.

I don’t think I will have the time I’m hoping for this winter, so his current price is $3500. Purchase price will increase with age and training. Indy is registered with KHAR, the Kiger registry.
