These old gals (and guys) have given a lifetime of service, and are now enjoying a well-deserved retirement here at West 12. Some of them don't get around as well as they used to, but they are fat and happy! We strongly believe that all responsible horsemen will take good care of their old campaigners.
Slewpy's Promise - 1992 Grey mare - Slewpy x Promising Native (Risa Gomez)
Slewpy's Promise has been here at W12 for quite some time. One of Slewpy's favorite things is to roll in the irrigation water, get herself completely covered in mud, and then take a nice long nap in the grass. Thankfully, I managed to catch her before that! Slewpy has had 8 foals, with sons Fleet Coord ($50,812) and Rossmoor ($30,430) among her 5 current winners.
